Last night Brody's temps were up to high but not high enough to take him in to hospital, i checked them every half hour waiting to go, I packed a bag and got dressed to go, but they didn't go up any more, so by 2 in the morning i then decided to go to sleep as we would have a big day at the clinic on Friday.
We woke up really early, to go to the clinic at 8.00am, his temps were still high but not high enough. GRrrrrr....
Brody's check up again went better, but still had tension as he had this doctor he has trouble with. Brody needed a blood transfusion and a platelet transfusion. His temp finally went up high enough and so they decided to keep us in. They started his meds and we had to wait for our room.
So around 6.00pm we finally got to our room and set every thing up. Then Brody broke out with a reaction from the meds called Red Man, his little head and face was bright red, like he got badly sun burnt. He has had this now 3 times as the nurses don't read his notes and give it to him the wrong way. Grrr.................
One of the doctors in the transplant team also gave me the list of tests Brody has to have and the times and dates. We have got a busy week or so ahead. At least we are already here, and we don't have to drive down, as now my car needs a big service which it will cost over $700, and if its not done i will lose my warranty. Grrrrr............. Have no idea!!!!
At this point of time my patience is thin and people are really bugging me, I have noticed my self changing as time go's on, as i have a dam hard job to do to help my son and take care of all his needs and people just seem to want me to do things they want. I have had enough. I cant believe people can be not so understanding. I feel my feelings are going to get worse and as it is starting to get more and more busier and more stressful. I do not wish this experience on any one, as i hope none of you will every have to go through this(cancer or Autism) with your child. Friends that have gone through this with your children, you are all my angels as you all understand how i feel. Thank you. xoxox
