End of chemo before transplant!!!!

Another busy day, had yet another student doctor come in to do her exam on Brody and it turned out she used to live next to Grandma and Grandpa house. Such a small world!! The normal doctors did their casual check ups and for the first time ever he didn't hit or kick this one particular doctor. Nurses and more nurses coming in and checking that we had every thing before we go home. Also Brody had his last lot of chemo today before the transplant.

Brody also had a little machine put into his leg but mummy had to be brave first and get one in her arm, gee it only hurt a little bit (pretend). Brody was then so brave and let the nurse put it into his leg. The machine is for me to give him injections every night for 5 nights.

Brody's Nan and Pop come to visit him for a little while and had fun playing playdough with them.

While Brody had a sleep i packed the trolley up and took all our stuff down to the car. Just not fair, i got 15 meters away from the car after pushing all our stuff through the hospital and down the lifts to have it fall and the every thing went flying. Just glad I was by myself as I wouldn't have been able to control Brody and fix it all up.

So now i am very tired and emotional and sick of the whole world, and i will now enjoy my time of so called rest at grandma's. We are due back at hospital on Tuesday for check ups and to see whats happening next.
